The #naturalhair/#loc community is like a zombie attack. We’re chasing you down, eating your brains, and turning you into one of us. *dr. Evil maniacal laugh*
I AM my hair and my hair is me!
Make no mistakes about it. My hair represents who I am and what I feel. I’ve sculpted it to do so. Me and me alone! Not a culture, not a history, not a fashion trend… ME! Now… your PERCEPTION of it’s symbolism is another story and, quite frankly, none of my damn business.

chaoticimperfections: I’m currently transitioning to locs with the two strand twist method and its been a month and a half. I want to dye some of the strands and wanted to know if I could dye my hair while in twists? I have a very loose curl pattern so I already have trouble keeping my ends… Perfect answer!
